India records 10,302 new COVID-19 cases, 267 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, the nation which witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, recorded 10,302 new cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Saturday.

During the same period, 267 people died due to the virus which is believed to have originated from China.

11,787 recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,24,868.

It is the lowest figure touched in the past 531 days.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.36 percent.
