Paris/IBNS: France on Friday recommended single dose of Covid-19 vaccine for people who have already recovered from the disease, said an AFP report.

The country's public health authority said that the people who had been affected with the infection in the past develop immunity similar to that induced by a vaccine dose, and a single shot is likely to be enough to protect them.

France is the first country to issue such an advice, the report added.
