A 46-year-old fitness enthusiast has shared the simple lifestyle habits that helped him lose 25 kg in just six months—without following any crash diet or extreme workout plan.

On June 22, Zee Ali, a South Asian health and fitness expert, posted a video on Instagram explaining how consistent daily habits transformed his weight-loss journey.

In the caption, he wrote: “Not feeling full → cravings → junk food → no result ❌ So I used 3 easy rules.”

He highlighted three key principles that guided his transformation:

Sleep and hydration as “secret weapons”

He said he made it a rule to go to bed by 10:30 pm every night and drink 3–4 litres of water daily. According to him, better sleep improved his energy levels, while increased water intake helped control hunger and reduce cravings.

A structured daily routine

He emphasised the importance of planning workouts, walks, and sleep in advance. “A routine keeps you in charge,” he said, adding that writing things down helped him stay consistent and avoid distractions.

High-protein diet to control cravings

He maintained a high protein intake of around 180–200 grams per day, which he said helped reduce snacking, preserve muscle mass, and support fat loss.

Summing up his transformation, he said: “That’s it. No extreme diet. No starving myself. Just a simple routine repeated every day.”

He added that he went from 101 kg to 76 kg in 24 weeks, describing the result as becoming “fitter, leaner, stronger and happier” at the age of 46.
