First coronavirus case confirmed in Greece
Athens/UNI: Greece on Wednesday announced the country's first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus, local media reported.
A 38-year-old woman who had recently travelled to Italy is hospitalized in the city of Thessaloniki in northern Greece since Tuesday, AMNA quoted Sotirios Tsiodras, spokesperson of the Greek Health Ministry for COVID-19, as saying.
The patient and her contacts are in quarantine, the spokesperson added.
