Delhi/IBNS: Delhi government has made Black Fungus Disease notifiable under the Epidemic Act a day after the national capital reported 153 new cases of the infection.

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal issued regulations under the Epidemic Diseases Act amid a surge in Mucormycosis cases in the national capital.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kjriwal said Wednesday that there were currently 620 cases of Black Fungus in the city and the number jumped to 773 on Thursday.

Under the regulation, no one can spread information for management of Black Fungus without permission of the department of health.
