COVID-19: Total cases in India touch 42,000 mark, death toll stands at 1373

New Delhi/IBNS: With   2,553 new infections reported in the past 24 hours, India's COVID-19 tally touched 42,553 on Monday, as per Indian government data released.

The death toll due to the disease reached 1373.

There are 29453 active COVID-19 cases in the country at present.

So far, 11706 people have been discharged from the hospital.

India's COVID-19 infection tally touched 40000-mark on Sunday.
