There is no medical facility in Pakistan and COVID-19 vaccine is still remote, he said.

He said that doctors are very disappointed.

Another doctor said that number of Corona patients started increasing ever since lockdown has been eased.

He regretted that doctors are not being provided PPEs.

He alerted that on demanding for PPEs, they are asked to quit jobs.

He demanded strict lockdown and prevention of all kinds of congregations across the country to stop the spread of the disease.

Dr Atif of PIMA urged Ulema to reconsider their decision of holding Taraveeh prayers at mosques.

Further, a Khatib of the mosque, who delivers the sermon, and his family were found positive.

The Mosque is Babul Islam Mosque and seminary. Its Khatib is Qaim Ali Shah, whose father had died few days back, and his Coronavirus test was found positive.

As a result, the family was tested. After results were found positive masjid and madrassa were sealed.

Assessment for Pakistan, particularly in Punjab, appears moving towards a spike after crossing the official figure of 10000.

"This figure as per assessments and reports may be exponential  and by end of this month it can be over 20000 with casualties around 500. Presently doubling rate of patients is 10 days," sources said.
