Bangladesh registers 1,125 fresh Covid-19 cases, 23 deaths

Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh reported 1,125 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the country's COVID-19 tally to 3,68,690, the Directorate General of Health Services said on Sunday.

Besides, the country also recorded 23 more deaths due to coronavirus, taking the country's death toll to 5,348.

The Directorate General of Health Services, in a statement, said that 9,859 samples were tested in the past day.

With this, the number of total sample tests reached 19,89,664.

On a positive front, 1,587 more COVID-19 patients recovered, bringing the total recovery to 2,81,656.
