Assam Covid-19 tally rises to over 1.25 lakh

Guwahati/UNI: The Covid-19 tally in Assam has continued to increase with the death toll claimed by the virus also on the rise.

The overall tally in the state has risen to 1,25,459 with over 1500 new cases detected in the last 24 hours.

Kamrup (metro) continued to account for the most number of cases.

The death toll has climbed to 360 with eight more Covid-19 related deaths confirmed on Sunday.

The number of recovered patients has crossed 96,000 in the state with over 1,000 discharges daily.
