Sensex moves up over 600 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday bounced back 697 pts at 57,276.89 as buying was seen across the board.

The Nifty gained 213 pts at 17,167.25. 

The sensex registered days high and low at 57,333.49 and 57,066.24 pts respectively. 

The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,181.85 and 17,110.30 pts respectively. 

The Mid moved up 1.45 pc and Small Cap by 1.17 pc. In 30 scrips, 29 advanced while 1 declined. 

The gainers were IndusInd Bank by 3.28 pc to Rs 977.85, M& M by 2.88 pc to Rs 929.25, Sun Pharma by 2.24 pc to Rs 920 and Bajaj finance by 2.08 pc to Rs 7155.
