Sensex moves up by 1,335.05 points
New Delhi: The BSE Sensex on Monday rallied 1335.05 points, breaching 60K level to 60,611.74 at close following the news of merger of HDFC Bank and HDFC.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too jumped 382.95 points at 18,053.40.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 60,845.10 and 59,760.22 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 18,114.64 and 17,791.40 respectively.
