Sensex down 476 pts, Nifty by 138 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Thursday lost another 476 points at 60,557.53 in opening trade as selling pressure was seen across the board.

The Nifty too slipped 138 points at 18,018.

The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 60,848.73 and 60,511.99 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 18,103.10 and 18,010 points respectively.

The Mid Cap declined by 0.39 percent and Small Cap by 0.28 percent.

In 30 scrips, six advanced while 24 declined.

The losers were M&M by 2.88 percent to Rs 1,298.65, Titan by 2.87 percent to Rs 2,640.05, Axis Bank by 2.84 percent to Rs 849.55 and Bajaj Finserv by 1.27 percent to Rs 1,731.15.

The gainers were Hind Unilever by 0.88 percent to Rs 2,527.10, Dr Reddy's Lab by 0.65 percent to Rs 4,570.15, Sun Pharma by 0.34 percent to Rs 1,016.20 and Kotak Bank by 0.35 percent to Rs 1,903.
