Jammu and Kashmir: Street food vendors asked to register for PM SVANidhi

Srinagar: The Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety Srinagar today called upon all the street food vendors of district Srinagar to register themselves under Food Safety & Standards Act.

“The vendors can access website https://foscos.fssai.gov.in or by approaching nearest CSC (Khidmat) Centre within 10 days to avail the benefits under Prime Ministers SVANidhi beneficiary scheme,” he said in a statement.

“Government of India, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has initiated socio-economic profiling of street vendors and their families under Prime Ministers SVANidhi beneficiary scheme with effect from 04 January, 2021 so that the benefit of the scheme is availed by them,” it added.
