Jammu and Kashmir: ACS Finance to chair panel to oversee implementation

Jammu: The Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), the Finance department would be the chairman of the committee constituted to oversee the implementation of the manpower audit.

“In partial modification of the government order No 669-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 30 July 2021, the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance department should be the chairman of the Committee in place of Principal Secretary to the government, Home department,” read an order issued by GAD.

"The other terms of reference of the committee will remain the same,” the order said. According to officials, the committee would finalise the scope of work for manpower audit in the J&K government by utilising scientific tools and suggest a framework for optimum utilisation of staff available with the department.

They said it would oversee the conduct of manpower audit across the department and would also be provided services.
