Indian Rupee recovers seven paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday gained seven paise to close at 74.34 against the USD on selling of US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The domestic unit that moved up by three paise at 74.38 in early trade, further gained and closed at 74.34, edged up by seven paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee regained due to weak dollar against other world currencies amid positive equity market, dealer said.

The local unit registered days high and low at 74.43 and 74.31 respectively.
