Indian Rupee moves up 6 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday advanced by six paise to close at 74.28 against the USD on selling of US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that went up by four paise at 74.30 in early trade, further gained and closed at 74.28 up by six paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee shot up due to weak dollar against other world currencies amid positive equity market, dealer said.
The local unit registered days high and low at 74.30 and 74.25 respectively.
