Indian Rupee falls 4 paise against USD
New Delhi: The Rupee on Tuesday eased four paise to close at 76.17 against the USD on rising demand for dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit declined four paise at 76.17 in early trade and finished at the opening level.
The Rupee was seen under pressure because of a firm dollar against other world currencies as well as a negative equity market.
The Rupee registered the day's high and low at 76.14 and 76.22 respectively against the US Dollar, the dealers added.
The Forex Market will remain closed on Thursday and Friday on account of Dr Ambedkar Jayanti and Good Friday respectively.
