| @indiablooms | Jul 27, 2021, at 11:48 pm

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday fell five paise to close at 74.46 against the USD on rising demand for the greenback by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

A minor fluctuation was seen during the day, as the domestic unit rose by six paise at 74.35 in early trade.

Later, it erased earlier gains and finished negative at 74.47, easing by five paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen weak due to strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative
equity market, dealer said.

The local unit registered day's high and low at 74.41 and 74.36 respectively.
