Mumbai/UNI:  The Rupee on Tuesday lost another 25 paise to close negative at 73.59 against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Sliding by 21 paise on Monday, the local unit tumbled down 28 paise to 73.62 in early trade on Tuesday and finished at 73.59, dropped by 25 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen under pressure owing to firm Dollar against other world currencies, amid negative equity market, dealers added.

The rupee registered the intra days high and low at 73.65 and 73.50 respectively, he added.
