New Delhi: The Rupee on Tuesday dropped 18 paise to close at 76.13 against the USD on rising demand for the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit that fell four paise at 75.99 in the opening session, dipped further by 18 paise to finish at 76.13, sliding 18 paise as compared to its previous close.
