Indian Market: Sensex up 254.03 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday surged by 254.03 pts at 51,279.51 following gains in Metal, Technology and IT stocks.

The Nifty too moved up by 76.40 pts to 15,174.80.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 51,430.43 and 51,048.93 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 15,218.45 and 15,100.85 pts respectively.
