Indian Market: Sensex recovers over 100 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex recovered 125 points at 57,652.23 in opening trade on Monday as fresh buying was seen in Realty, Banjex stocks.

The Nifty too rose 32.05 pts at 16,977.10.

The sensex registered intra day high and low at 57,664.45 and 57,415.02 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 16,991.10 and 16,918.55 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up 0.02 pc while small Cap fell by 0.45 pc respectively.

In 30 scrips, 20 advanced while 10 declined.

The gainers were Powergrid by 1.28 pc to Rs 225.30, Bajaj Finance by 0.99 pc to Rs 5706.75 and Sun Pharma by 0.76 pc to Rs 980.45.

The losers were M& M by 0.96 pc to Rs 1139.20, Titan by 0.58 pc to Rs 2478.55, Axis Bank by 0.48 pc to Rs 836.45 and ITC by 0.48 pc to Rs 376.90.
