Indian Market: Sensex down 51.67 points

The BSE Sensex on Wednesday slipped 51.67 points to 67,169.46 as selling was seen across the board.

The Nifty fell 4.50 points to 19,988.70.

The stocks, including Realty, Bankex, and Technology, kept the market weak in early trade.

The midcap declined by 0.99 percent and the small cap by 0.79 percent.

In 30 scrips, 12 advanced, while 18 declined.

The losers were L & T by 1.42 percent to Rs 2901.05, HCL Technologies by 1.22 percent to Rs 1266.10, Bajaj Finserv by 1.21 percent to Rs 1524.95, and M& M by 0.98 percent to Rs 1542.30.

The gainers were Powergrid by 1.15 percent to Rs 193.60, Titan by 0.67 percent to Rs 3207.30, Kotak Bank by 0.70 percent to Rs 1824, and ITC by 0.58 percent to Rs 453.60.
