Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Monday assured citizens across West Bengal that there is no shortage of essential fuels, including petrol, diesel, CNG, and domestic LPG, amid rising concerns over supply disruptions.

The state-run energy major said all its fuel stations and LPG distributorships across the state are functioning normally and are fully stocked to meet consumer demand.

“There is no cause for concern or panic buying. Our supply chain operations remain robust and efficient, ensuring uninterrupted supplies,” the company said in an official statement.

BPCL urged customers to remain calm, reiterating its commitment to ensuring reliable and accessible energy supplies across its network.

A Fortune Global 500 company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is India’s second-largest oil marketing company and a key integrated player in the oil and gas sector, with operations spanning refining and marketing of petroleum products.

The company operates major refineries in Mumbai, Kochi, and Bina, with a combined refining capacity of approximately 35.3 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA). Its extensive distribution network includes over 23,500 fuel stations and more than 6,200 LPG distributorships nationwide.
